Barbara’s Puffins Multigrain Cereal

We have happily added a new option to our family’s repertoire of gluten free cereals! Mambo Sprouts offered us the chance to try out Barbara’s Puffins Multigrain Cereal made with gluten free oats*. This is a lightly sweet and tasty “puffed” textured breakfast cereal. Made with whole grain corn flour, brown rice flour, and oat flour, with evaporated cane juice (only 6 grams of sugar) and enriched with vitamins and extra fiber (3 grams per serving). My son (5) and daughter (2) both loved it, and I enjoyed it too. Love that more and more products are being made with gluten free oats!
*A note about the gluten free oats from the back of the cereal box: “Our pure, clean oats are grown by a dedicated association of farmers who’ve made a commitment to plant and harvest the finest, cleanest grains available…”
FYI for the ULTRA-gluten sensitive… the box also says: “Manufactured in a facility that also processes milk… and wheat. Verified to contain less than 20 ppm gluten.”
